WHO I AM

I'm Grace, the creative force behind happily grace photography!

I began my portrait business in 2021 after falling in love with senior sessions and capturing the magic of young couples through candid photoshoots. I now specialize in senior and family photography. When I am not creating magic behind the camera, I enjoy taking walks with my puppy, golfing and exploring new Michigan spots with my loved ones.

FAMILY LIFE

I grew up in Metro Detroit, Michigan, alongside my wonderful family—my mom, Anne Marie, my dad, Jeff, and my little sister, Charlotte. Growing up in Southeast Michigan gave me a deep appreciation for finding beauty in every season, which continues to inspire my photography work today.

After graduating from Saginaw Valley State University, I returned to the Metro Detroit area with my partner, Dominic, and our puppy, Waylon. I love discovering new locations for photo sessions all across the Great Lakes state, from charming small towns to scenic lakeshores. While Michigan will always feel like home, I’m always excited for opportunities to travel and photograph love stories, families, and special moments in new destinations.
